Kaiser Springform Bakeware

Springform Pans by Kaiser made in Germany

The Kaiser Backform (Bakeware) Company has produced traditional German baking pans since the year 1919. Still produced in Germany, Kaiser products are sold in over 30 countries around the world. A secret of the European professional and home baker is the Kaiser springform pan that is a perfect choice for cakes, breads, tortes, and cheesecakes, which otherwise might be difficult to remove from a traditional pan. You will love the perfect handling and baking results with your Kaiser springform pans. The bakeware line “La Forme Plus” is the newest product style from Kaiser. La Forme Plus features commercial-quality construction with the new “KAIRAMIC” ceramic-based non-stick coating for a longer lifetime and clean release. The base metal is heavy carbon steel for even heat distribution. Rolled edges add extra strength. Select base pieces also have the Kaiser Magnum coating for a cut-resistant surface. The buckle has been redesigned for easier open and closing. The springform ring can be completely opened for easier cleaning. The line includes numerous springform pan styles and sizes. Specialized baking mold pans also are available. All come in a new dark gray, high-gloss color. Made in Germany, the Kaiser La Forme Plus springform bakeware is backed by a ten-year warranty.

Here are some helpful kitchen tips for using your Kaiser springform baking pan:

Preparation: Use butter or margarine to grease the bottom and sides of the pan. Place pan in the refrigerator for a few minutes to firm up the grease to avoid mixing with the batter.

Grease springform pan with butter before baking

In the oven: Place the springform pan directly in the middle of the baking rack. Do not place on a baking sheet. Place shallow baked goods on the upper rack and thicker ones on the lower or middle rack. While baking if the top starts to brown too much, cover with a piece of aluminum foil. A few minutes before the end of the recipe’s baking time, test for doneness by sticking a toothpick in the thickest portion of the cake and remove. If you do not get any moist batter sticking to the toothpick, then it is done.

After baking: Allow the cake to rest and cool in the springform on a cooling rack for about three minutes. Then remove the springform from the sides. The buckle on Kaiser springform pans is easy to open and will last for many years. It is recommended to clean the springform as soon as possible after removing.

Allow springform pan to cool a few minutes before removing ring

Cleaning: Do not wash in the dishwasher. Instead, use hot water and detergent with a soft cloth or sponge to clean your pan. Do not use steel wool or metal utensils to help clean. A silicone spatula works well if you need to scrape away any baked-on particles.
